The Sacramento Kings have released veteran guard Terence Davis, according to the NBA’s official transaction log.
Davis, 28, held a non-guaranteed $2.5 million contract for the 2024-25 season, leaving Sacramento with no financial obligation after the move. His departure reduces the roster to 14 guaranteed contracts and gives the front office flexibility as it continues to monitor potential deals for Golden State forward Jonathan Kuminga and free-agent guard Russell Westbrook.
Acquired from Toronto in 2021, Davis became a key scoring option off the Kings’ bench. A ruptured Achilles tendon sidelined him for most of the 2023-24 campaign, but he returned last season in the G League, averaging 14.3 points while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.
Mavericks Bring Back 7-Foot-5 Center
The Dallas Mavericks have signed Jamarion Sharp to an Exhibit 10 contract, league sources told HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto. The 7-foot-5 center attended Mavericks training camp last year and spent the season with their G League affiliate, the Texas Legends, where he posted 5.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game. Sharp will compete for Dallas’ open two-way slot.
Bucks Ink Guard Cormac Ryan
The Milwaukee Bucks announced the signing of guard Cormac Ryan on an Exhibit 10 deal. Ryan averaged nearly 12 points across five Summer League games in Las Vegas and recorded 12.5 points per contest last season with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League. Should he remain in the organization, the former North Carolina standout is expected to join the Wisconsin Herd, with an Exhibit 10 bonus available if he stays on the G League roster for a set period.
The Kings, Mavericks and Bucks now head toward training camp with added roster flexibility and depth following Monday’s transactions.
