Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James acknowledged after Game 3 that he is battling physical discomfort, even as his team stands one win away from completing a postseason sweep.

“I don’t feel good,” the 39-year-old forward told reporters, without elaborating on specific ailments. Despite that admission, James emphasized that playing through pain is part of why the Lakers now lead their best-of-seven series 3–0.

James scored in double figures for the third straight game, contributing on both ends of the floor as Los Angeles tightened its grip on the matchup. The victory pushed the Lakers to the brink of advancing, needing just one more win to move on in the NBA playoffs.

Game 4 is scheduled for later this week at Crypto.com Arena, where the Lakers will attempt to secure the sweep in front of their home crowd.
