The Nuggets announced Thursday afternoon that forward Aaron Gordon is not expected to play in Game 3 against the Timberwolves because of left calf tightness. Shortly afterward, Jason Quick of The Athletic reported that Denver has not made a final decision, leaving Gordon’s status in flux ahead of the series’ third game, which is tied 1-1. Rookie forward Peyton Watson (hamstring) remains out.

Toronto will be without guard Immanuel Quickley for a third straight contest as the Raptors face Cleveland on Thursday night. Quickley has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since April 12. Jamal Shead started Game 2, but coach Darko Rajaković declined to name Thursday’s replacement.

Houston has listed Kevin Durant as questionable for Saturday’s Game 3 against the Lakers due to a left ankle sprain. The veteran missed Game 1 with a knee issue but logged 41 minutes in Game 2, committing nine turnovers while facing constant double-teams.

The Lakers upgraded guard Austin Reaves to questionable for Saturday. Reaves had been projected to miss four to six weeks with a left oblique strain suffered three weeks ago.

The Trail Blazers posted video of Damian Lillard shooting, sparking speculation about a postseason return from his ruptured Achilles tendon. Coach Tiago Splitter tempered expectations, responding “probably not” when asked if the star could play this spring.

San Antonio cleared forward Harrison Barnes (shoulder) and guard Dylan Harper (left thumb) for Friday’s Game 3 against Portland. “They’ll be available and good to go,” coach Mitch Johnson said.

Lakers forward Jake LaRavia is day-to-day with a low-grade ankle sprain, coach JJ Redick stated. The 6-7 swingman went scoreless in 16 minutes in Game 2 after appearing in all 82 regular-season games.
