The Indiana Pacers have added forward Jalen Slawson to their training-camp roster on an Exhibit 10 agreement, the club announced on September 9.

Indiana obtained Slawson’s G League rights from the Birmingham Squadron on August 29, clearing the way for Tuesday’s deal. The Exhibit 10 pact allows the 25-year-old to earn up to $85,300 if he is waived and then spends at least 60 days with the Noblesville Boom, the Pacers’ G League affiliate.

Originally selected by the Sacramento Kings with the No. 54 pick in the 2023 draft, Slawson appeared in 12 NBA games as a rookie on a two-way contract. Sacramento declined to extend a qualifying offer last summer, making him an unrestricted free agent.

He signed a training-camp deal with the Orlando Magic in September 2024 but was released before Opening Night. Slawson then played 50 games for the Osceola Magic in the G League, averaging 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 30.1 minutes. He also suited up for the Philadelphia 76ers’ Summer League entry in July 2025.

Slawson’s arrival gives Indiana 19 players under contract for camp, two shy of the league’s 21-man limit.
