The Chicago Bulls have signed forward Mouhamadou Gueye for the remainder of the 2025-26 NBA season, the team announced in a press release.
Gueye, a 6-foot-9 Staten Island native, has spent this year with the Windy City Bulls, Chicago’s NBA G League affiliate. In 47 Tip-Off Tournament and regular-season games, the 27-year-old averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 blocks over 29.2 minutes, shooting 51.7 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from three-point range and 62.7 percent at the free-throw line.
Undrafted out of the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, Gueye has played four G League seasons, making stops with the Texas Legends, Raptors 905 and Capital City Go-Go before joining Windy City. His only previous NBA action came with the Toronto Raptors during the 2023-24 campaign, when he appeared in 11 games on 10-day and two-way contracts, posting 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per outing.
By joining Chicago’s 15-man roster for the final four days of the regular season, Gueye will earn $47,092. The Bulls had an open standard roster spot available. He can become a restricted free agent this summer if the club extends a qualifying offer, though that scenario is considered unlikely.
