Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was videotaped outside a hotel in Madrid on Wednesday, April 8, as he sought specialized care for a lingering hamstring injury.
The short clip, circulated on social media early Wednesday, shows the 27-year-old guard walking slowly along the hotel entrance before getting into a waiting vehicle. According to the New York Post report, Doncic traveled to the Spanish capital to receive treatment unavailable to him in the United States.
The Mavericks have not announced a timetable for his return, and team officials have yet to comment on the video. Doncic, a four-time NBA All-Star, has missed recent games while rehabbing the strained hamstring.
Doncic spent four seasons with Real Madrid’s basketball team before entering the NBA in 2018, making Madrid a familiar destination for the Slovenian standout during periods of injury recovery.
