The Memphis Grizzlies announced via social media on Friday that guards Ja Morant and forwards Brandon Clarke and Zach Edey will miss the rest of the 2025/26 campaign.
Morant has been sidelined since Jan. 21 with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. Team doctors have recommended a platelet-rich plasma injection to accelerate healing, and the club expects the All-Star point guard to be fully cleared before next season.
Clarke, limited to two appearances this year while recovering from a right calf strain, recently underwent imaging that showed he needs additional rehabilitation time before returning to high-intensity on-court activity. He is also projected to be ready for the 2026/27 season.
Edey has not played since the first week of December after ankle surgery and was already anticipated to remain out. The team said the rookie recently had a procedure to ease discomfort in his left elbow but, like Morant and Clarke, is on track for a full offseason recovery.
The Grizzlies did not announce any roster moves in connection with the injury updates.
