The Memphis Grizzlies have signed forward Tyler Burton and guard DeJon Jarreau to their second 10-day contracts, the team announced on Tuesday.

Burton, 26, initially joined the club on March 12 under a hardship exception. In six appearances off the bench, the undrafted Villanova product is averaging 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds across 25.3 minutes per game while shooting .306 from the field, .313 from three-point range and .867 at the free-throw line.

This marks Burton’s first NBA opportunity. He spent training camp with Memphis on an Exhibit 10 deal and has played most of the season for the franchise’s G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle.

Jarreau, 28, signed his initial 10-day contract on March 13. The shooting guard has logged five games in reserve duty, posting 6.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 21.4 minutes per outing with .419/.111/.714 shooting splits.

Jarreau brings prior NBA experience, having appeared in nine contests for Memphis during the 2023-24 season and one game for Indiana in 2021-22.

The hardship exemption lets a club temporarily exceed the standard 15-man roster when at least four players have missed three or more games and are projected to remain out for two additional weeks. With 10 players on the injury report for Tuesday’s matchup in Atlanta, Memphis qualifies for the exception.

Both 10-day deals run through April 1, allowing Burton and Jarreau to suit up for up to six more games. To keep either player beyond that date, the Grizzlies would need to sign them for the remainder of the season.

Burton will earn $73,153 over the next 10 days, while Jarreau is slated to receive $131,970.
