NEW YORK — Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond has been fined $25,000 for what the NBA called an “objectionable gesture” made during Thursday’s game in Sacramento, the league announced Saturday.

NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations James Jones issued the penalty after reviewing an incident that happened with eight seconds remaining in the third quarter of the 76ers’ 139-118 victory over the Kings. Following a made 3-pointer, Drummond appeared to mimic a shooting motion toward Sacramento’s bench.

Drummond finished the contest with 13 points, going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and grabbed 11 rebounds.
