The Cleveland Cavaliers continue their extended road swing Wednesday when they face the Chicago Bulls, aiming to stack a second straight win after Tuesday’s victory in Milwaukee.

Cleveland arrived at the United Center with a 42-27 record, still jostling for postseason seeding in a tightly packed Eastern Conference. The Bulls, 28-40 entering the matchup, are playing the back half of a back-to-back and focusing largely on player development down the stretch.

Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff is expected to start James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, Keon Ellis, Dean Wade and Evan Mobley. With center Jarrett Allen sidelined, Mobley will shoulder additional interior duties on both ends.

The Cavaliers hope to repeat Tuesday’s defensive uptick, which followed a lackluster outing against Dallas. Limiting breakdowns and dictating tempo remain priorities as Cleveland tries to build momentum for the season’s final weeks.

Chicago’s youthful core, highlighted by the recent activity of Josh Giddey and the emergence of Matas Buzelis, has shown the ability to push the pace and punish lapses. Despite their record, the Bulls have made opponents work when defensive focus slips.

Tip-off is set for Wednesday night in Chicago.
