Novi Sad, Serbia — Former Atlanta Hawks swingman Nikola Djurisic has signed a multiyear agreement with Crvena Zvezda that runs through the 2027-28 season, the Serbian club announced.

The 22-year-old will not suit up for Crvena Zvezda immediately. Instead, he has been loaned to KK Mega Basket, the team he represented from 2020 to 2024 before entering the NBA draft.

Djurisic was selected 43rd overall by the Hawks in the 2024 draft and spent the 2024-25 campaign with the College Park Skyhawks of the G League. He averaged 9.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists across 21 appearances.

Atlanta signed the 6-foot-8 wing to a three-year deal last summer, guaranteeing only the first season. When the club required an open roster spot in February, it waived Djurisic while promoting Caleb Houstan. The Serbian prospect did not appear in an NBA game.

The new arrangement gives Djurisic a chance to receive consistent minutes in his home country while remaining under contract with one of Europe’s most prominent teams.
