Center Mitchell Robinson delivered a career-best 22 rebounds, including nine on the offensive glass, as the Knicks beat the Pacers by nine points on Friday. The 31 minutes marked his longest outing of the season. Head coach Mike Brown said the club’s season-long load-management plan has “paid off” by keeping Robinson available for extended minutes. The 25-year-old will enter unrestricted free agency this summer.

Jose Alvarado continues to wrestle with his outside shot. Since connecting on eight three-pointers against Philadelphia on Feb. 11, the Knicks guard is 5-for-34 from deep and went shot-less in 13 minutes against Indiana. Alvarado, who holds a $4.5 million player option for 2026-27, said he must “trust the work” to rediscover his range.

Across town, the Nets saw forward Josh Minott put up a career-high 24 points along with three rebounds, three steals and three blocks in Thursday’s loss to Atlanta. Acquired from Boston before last month’s trade deadline, Minott said he was “pretty happy” with the performance but stressed that wins remain the priority. Brooklyn holds a $2,584,539 team option on his non-guaranteed deal, which becomes fully guaranteed on July 15.

The Nets will be without leading scorer Michael Porter Jr. this afternoon against Philadelphia. An ankle sprain will sideline him for the 15th time this season, the team announced.
