San Antonio — The San Antonio Spurs have added guard/forward Stanley Umude on an Exhibit 10 contract as training camp approaches later this month.

The agreement, relayed on social media by Spotrac contributor Keith Smith and first noted by Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot, brings the Spurs’ roster to 20 players, one shy of the preseason limit.

Umude, 26, spent last season on a two-way deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. He appeared in 22 NBA games, never tallying more than three points in any outing. During 13 contests with the Bucks’ G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, the 6-foot-6 wing averaged 17.5 points and 4.4 rebounds.

The Arkansas product also suited up for Milwaukee’s Summer League squad in July. Prior to his stint with the Bucks, Umude was part of the Detroit Pistons organization for two seasons, holding a two-way contract in 2023-24 after going undrafted in 2022.

Under the terms of the Exhibit 10 deal, Umude would be eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300 if the Spurs waive him before the season and he spends at least 60 days with their G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.
