Los Angeles’ Adou Thiero Shines in G League While NBA Minutes Decline

Adou Thiero is making noticeable strides with the South Bay Lakers in the NBA G League even as his role with the Los Angeles Lakers has diminished, according to a March 12 report.
The New York Post notes that Thiero is “ascending” at the G League level, taking on more responsibility and producing strong performances. At the same time, his opportunities on the NBA roster have “taken a back seat,” reflecting a reduced presence in the Lakers’ recent rotations.
The report did not specify when—or if—the 21-year-old will return to a larger role with the Lakers this season.
