Los Angeles Lakers forward Jake LaRavia says his confidence remains intact even as his three-point accuracy lags during the 2025-26 campaign.

Speaking after practice on Monday, the 23-year-old acknowledged the downturn but pointed to his daily work as a reason to stay positive. “I’m trusting the work that I put in,” LaRavia said. “The team and coaches know how good of a shooter I am. The shots just haven’t been falling come game time.”

LaRavia is converting 46.3 percent of his overall attempts but only 32.2 percent from long range. Opponents typically sag off the wing as they focus on the Lakers’ primary trio of Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James, giving LaRavia open looks that have not consistently dropped.

Head coach JJ Redick has repeatedly praised the forward’s versatility, calling him a “Swiss Army knife” who fills multiple roles based on nightly needs. LaRavia is the lone Laker to appear in every game this season, raising the possibility that accumulated minutes may be affecting his legs from distance.
