Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said veteran guard Seth Curry will be in uniform for Monday night’s game against the Utah Jazz, ending a layoff of just over three months caused by sciatic nerve irritation on the left side.
Back after lengthy absence
Curry, 35, had been listed as probable before the club upgraded him to available on the latest injury report. The 12-year NBA veteran has appeared in only two contests since re-signing with the Warriors on December 1.
In those outings, he produced 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting with two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 18 minutes on December 2, followed by a scoreless 14-minute stint on December 4. He has not played since the latter game.
First chance to share the floor with brother this season
Curry’s activation gives him an opportunity to appear alongside older brother Stephen Curry for the first time in 2025-26, though that pairing will have to wait; the two-time MVP remains sidelined by a right knee injury.
Warriors’ injury report
Guards Moses Moody (right wrist sprain) and Will Richard (right ankle sprain) are still unavailable for Golden State. Big men Al Horford (left toe injury management) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness management) are also out, but Kerr said he expects both centers to be ready for Tuesday’s home meeting with the Chicago Bulls.
