Several high-profile injuries are shaping lineups across the league ahead of the weekend’s slate.
Nuggets
Denver believes guard Jamal Murray avoided significant damage after spraining his left ankle in the second quarter of Friday’s loss to New York. ESPN’s Tim MacMahon reported the injury is considered mild, and the two-time All-Star is expected to be listed as questionable for Monday’s meeting with Oklahoma City.
Forward Aaron Gordon returned to action Friday after missing 17 consecutive games with a right hamstring strain. “I feel great… it’s just the timing and pace of the game that needs to come back,” Gordon told The Denver Post’s Bennett Durando.
Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo will sit out Sunday’s road contest against Orlando as Milwaukee manages a right calf issue on the second night of a back-to-back.
Forward Kyle Kuzma is listed as questionable with a thoracic spine contusion.
Pistons
Detroit upgraded guard Cade Cunningham to probable for Sunday’s game in Miami. Cunningham missed Saturday’s defeat to Brooklyn with a left quad contusion.
The Pistons will remain without Caris LeVert, who continues to recover from a left wrist sprain.
