Milwaukee, Wis. — The Milwaukee Bucks have ruled out Giannis Antetokounmpo for Sunday night’s home game against the Orlando Magic as the club continues to limit the forward’s workload following a right calf strain.

The decision comes on the second night of a back-to-back. Antetokounmpo logged 27 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in 27 minutes Saturday, helping Milwaukee halt a four-game slide with a victory over the Utah Jazz.

Sunday’s absence will be the 30th game the 31-year-old has missed this season — the most in any year of his career. He has appeared in three contests since returning from the injury that sidelined him for 15 straight games over five weeks, his second bout with a right calf strain this season.

Through 33 outings, Antetokounmpo is averaging 27.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

The Bucks will also be without their second-leading scorer Kevin Porter Jr. for a third consecutive game because of swelling in his right knee.
