Boston — Nikola Vucevic will be out about four weeks after breaking the ring finger on his right hand during the Boston Celtics’ 114-107 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night, according to multiple sources.

The 15-year veteran left the court after just two minutes of action and is scheduled to undergo a procedure on Saturday, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Friday’s matchup was Vucevic’s 12th appearance for Boston since arriving from the Chicago Bulls in a trade completed shortly before last month’s deadline. In 23.5 minutes per game, he has averaged 11.4 points and 7.8 rebounds while bolstering a frontcourt that also features Neemias Queta and Luka Garza.

Vucevic’s injury occurred on the same night star forward Jayson Tatum made his first appearance in 10 months after recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.
