Darius Garland made his Los Angeles Clippers debut Monday night, recording 12 points in a 114-101 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

The two-time All-Star entered off the bench, logged 23 minutes and shot 4-for-9 from the field, including 2-for-7 from beyond the arc. He also committed five turnovers.

Monday’s appearance at Chase Center was Garland’s first game action since Jan. 14. Persistent toe issues—listed as left toe injury management and a right great toe sprain—had sidelined him before the Cleveland Cavaliers sent him to Los Angeles on Feb. 4 in the trade that moved James Harden to Cleveland.

The toe problems trace back to last postseason, when Garland missed four playoff contests, among them two second-round home defeats to Indiana.

Garland, 26, is averaging 18.0 points and 6.9 assists this season and remains under contract through 2027-28. The Clippers, now 27-32, view him as a key piece of their long-term plans.
