The Golden State Warriors will keep star guard Stephen Curry on the sideline a little longer. According to ESPN’s Anthony Slater, the two-time MVP will be reevaluated in 10 days as he continues to recover from a right knee injury suffered on January 30.

Curry has already missed 10 games and is expected to sit out at least five more during the new recovery window. An MRI conducted last month found no structural damage, but the knee has been slow to respond to treatment.

Head coach Steve Kerr told reporters the organization has no intention of shutting Curry down for the remainder of the season.

Golden State enters Thursday ranked eighth in the Western Conference. Prior to the injury, Curry was averaging 27.2 points and 4.8 assists per game.
