The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard/forward Cormac Ryan to a two-way contract, bringing the Wisconsin Herd standout up to the NBA roster, according to the league’s official transaction log.

Ryan, 27, went undrafted out of North Carolina in 2024. He spent his rookie season with the Oklahoma City Blue before joining the Herd last fall. Through 29 G League games this year, the 6-5 wing is averaging 20.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.2 minutes, while shooting 48.6 percent from the field, 42.1 percent from three-point range and 88.4 percent at the foul line.

The Bucks had an open two-way slot after waiving Mark Sears in January, so no additional roster move was needed. Ryan becomes Milwaukee’s third two-way player, joining Alex Antetokounmpo and Pete Nance.

Although this is only his second professional season, Ryan is older than most second-year players after six collegiate campaigns at Stanford, Notre Dame and UNC. He previously accepted non-guaranteed camp invites from both the Thunder and Bucks, but this marks his first in-season NBA contract.

Under two-way rules for 2025-26, Ryan can be active for up to 13 regular-season games with Milwaukee while remaining a key contributor for the Herd.
