MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Sacramento Kings snapped the longest losing streak in franchise history Monday night, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 123-114 at FedExForum and ending a 16-game slide that dated back to mid-January.

Russell Westbrook poured in 25 points, and Precious Achiuwa added 22 points and 12 rebounds as Sacramento secured its first victory since Jan. 16 and its first road win since Dec. 6, 2025. DeMar DeRozan and Daeqwon Plowden finished with 19 points apiece, with Plowden scoring 10 in the fourth quarter.

Memphis guard Javon Small led the home team with 21 points and nine assists. Olivier-Maxence Prosper scored 17, and GG Jackson contributed 16 for a Grizzlies squad still dealing with extensive injuries; eight Memphis players were listed as unavailable, and no active Grizzlies player stood taller than the 6-foot-9 Jackson.

After trailing at halftime 63-61, Memphis briefly moved in front early in the third quarter. Sacramento responded with an 18-6 burst to establish the night’s first double-digit margin and held a 92-89 edge entering the final period. The Kings then opened the fourth with a 15-4 run punctuated by a Westbrook three-pointer at the 8:45 mark, creating a cushion they never surrendered.

Westbrook’s performance marked his fourth 25-point outing of the season and his first since the club’s previous win on Jan. 16. Achiuwa recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds before halftime as Sacramento exploited its height advantage, with both teams shooting better than 54% over the opening two quarters.

Despite the victory, Sacramento still owns the NBA’s worst record, while Memphis remains 11th in the Western Conference.
