LeBron James became the oldest player in NBA history to post a triple-double, guiding the Los Angeles Lakers to a victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 13, 2026.
According to the team, the 41-year-old forward recorded double figures in points, rebounds and assists, surpassing all previous age marks for the statistical feat. The performance powered Los Angeles past Dallas and secured the milestone in James’s 23rd NBA season.
The achievement adds another entry to James’s extensive résumé, which already includes four league championships and four Most Valuable Player awards.
