Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams re-injured his right hamstring during Wednesday’s win over the Phoenix Suns and will not play again until he is re-evaluated after the All-Star break, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
The setback came in Williams’ second appearance after a 10-game absence for the same hamstring problem. He scored 28 points, handed out five assists and collected four rebounds in just 20 minutes as the Thunder cruised past Phoenix. Two nights earlier, he had poured in 23 points in 24 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Williams, a 2025 All-Star and All-NBA Third Team honoree, has been limited to 26 games this season. The 22-year-old is averaging 17.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 29 minutes per contest.
The upcoming break gives Oklahoma City additional time to monitor the injury without rushing the 6-foot-6 swingman back to the court.
