INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Brandon Ingram will step in for the injured Stephen Curry at this weekend’s NBA All-Star Game, league officials announced Monday.
The Toronto Raptors forward, now in his 10th season, is averaging 22.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists. His addition to the USA Stripes roster marks his second career All-Star appearance.
Curry, the Golden State Warriors guard, missed his fourth straight game Monday with runner’s knee. The Warriors expect him to return after the All-Star break, when they host the Boston Celtics on Feb. 19.
The 75th NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Sunday at Intuit Dome.
