The Los Angeles Lakers have signed 7-foot center Kylor Kelley, the team announced Monday. Contract details were not released, but the agreement is expected to be an Exhibit 10, giving the club flexibility to convert the deal into a two-way slot or direct Kelley to its G League affiliate after camp.

If waived before the regular season, Kelley can join the South Bay Lakers, where he spent most of the 2024-25 campaign. In 32 G League appearances last year—27 as a starter—the 28-year-old averaged 11.5 points on 68.2% shooting, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.4 blocks across 26.7 minutes.

Kelley’s G League play earned two NBA call-ups in 2024-25, leading to 11 games with the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks. He posted 3.1 points and 3.5 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game and recorded a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double in his first NBA start for Dallas on Feb. 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Across four G League seasons with South Bay, the Maine Celtics, Raptors 905 and Austin Spurs, Kelley owns career averages of 8.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.0 blocks in 20.1 minutes. He led the league in blocks during the 2024 campaign and was named to the G League All-Defensive Team.

The Oregon State product has also played professionally in Canada, Denmark and England. His rim protection addresses a frontcourt void for the Lakers following the offseason trade of Anthony Davis. Los Angeles currently has one standard roster opening and one two-way slot available heading into training camp.

Kelley joins fellow Exhibit 10 signees Eric Dixon, RJ Davis, Arthur Kaluma and Augustas Marčiulionis, all of whom are expected to compete for roster spots during camp and, if waived, form the core of the 2025-26 South Bay squad.
