Team sources told Siegel that Los Angeles lacks players Golden State values, and the Warriors would not reconsider even if the Lakers included their lone tradable first-round pick.
Golden State is reportedly focused on turning Kuminga’s salary into a wing upgrade rather than sending the 21-year-old to a Pacific Division rival. Kuminga is currently sidelined with a bone bruise in his left knee and has no definitive return date, though the injury is not considered long term.
Pistons Listening on Jaden Ivey
Siegel also reports that the Detroit Pistons are open to discussions involving guard Jaden Ivey but would require a significant roster upgrade to part with the 2022 No. 5 overall pick. Detroit is said to be prioritizing wing help and has recently been linked to New Orleans Pelicans forward Herb Jones.
Ivey is averaging a career-low 17.0 minutes across 29 games this season as he moves toward restricted free agency.
Raptors Prioritize Payroll Flexibility
