August 24, 2025 — Former Miami Heat teammates Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers captured the Big3 championship on Saturday night, guiding the Miami 305 squad to a dramatic victory 11 years after their last NBA Finals appearance together.
Beasley powered the offense with 25 points and 12 rebounds. His most decisive play came in isolation when he kicked the ball out to Chalmers in the corner for a buzzer-beating three-pointer that sealed a four-point margin and the title.
Chalmers, serving as team captain, finished with five points—three coming on the game-winning shot. Lance Stephenson added 14 points, while veterans Reggie Evans and Sean Williams rounded out the lineup.
The championship marked the fifth different league in which the 39-year-old Chalmers has won a title. His résumé includes two NBA championships with the Heat, two high-school state crowns, the 2008 NCAA championship with Kansas, and a 2019 FIBA Champions League trophy with Virtus Bologna.
Beasley and Chalmers reached the 2024 Big3 Finals but fell to Bivouac, led by Gerald Green and Corey Brewer. One year later, the duo finished the job and brought Miami 305 its first Big3 crown.
