The NBA has postponed the Minnesota Timberwolves’ home game against the Golden State Warriors that was scheduled for Jan. 24 in Minneapolis after a protester was shot and killed in the city earlier the same day, the league announced.
No new date for the matchup at Target Center was immediately set. The NBA said further information on rescheduling and ticket policies will be provided “as soon as possible.”
Local authorities confirmed the death of the protester but released no additional details about the incident.
