The Golden State Warriors have placed Michael Porter Jr., Trey Murphy III and Herbert Jones at the top of their trade board as the Feb. 5 NBA deadline approaches, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.

Priorities and Possible Offers

Siegel reports that Golden State views Porter as its primary target, provided the team can reach an agreement with the Brooklyn Nets built around Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Buddy Hield and one first-round pick. Early indications suggest the Warriors are unwilling to send more than a single first-rounder in a Porter deal because both Kuminga and Moody would already be included.

If discussions shift to New Orleans, the Warriors are said to be willing to part with Kuminga and two first-round selections for Murphy. Siegel did not outline a specific framework for a potential trade involving Jones.

Moody on the Block

Golden State is “very open” to moving Moody before the deadline, Siegel adds, noting internal disappointment that the 23-year-old guard’s development has not progressed as hoped.

Fallback Options

Should the Warriors fail to land Porter, Murphy or Jones, the front office is expected to pivot toward other wings and big men viewed as more attainable. Players mentioned by Siegel include Naji Marshall, Ayo Dosunmu, Daniel Gafford and Bobby Portis.
