Orlando, FL — Magic forward Franz Wagner hopes to be back on the floor when Orlando faces Memphis in Berlin, Germany, later this month. Speaking with reporters, the 22-year-old said he feels “good” after weeks of rehabilitation on a high ankle sprain that has sidelined him for the past 16 games, including Sunday’s 128-118 victory over New Orleans.

Wagner, who grew up attending games in the same Berlin arena, called the trip a “full-circle moment” for him and his brother, Moe Wagner. In 24 appearances this season, he is averaging 22.7 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds. The Magic are 22-18, tied with Cleveland for sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

League-wide injury roundup

Jalen Green, Suns — The third-year guard increased his on-court work Friday under the supervision of Phoenix’s coaching staff, coach Jordan Ott told the Arizona Republic. Ott said general soreness is expected and confirmed Green will operate under a minutes limit but will return to the starting lineup once cleared. Green has missed multiple months.

Seth Curry, Warriors — Golden State announced that Curry, out the past 12 games with a sciatic nerve issue, will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The veteran guard has logged only two contests this season, both in early December; he scored 14 points in 17:57 of his debut while shooting 6-for-7 from the field.

Jalen Williams, Thunder — Williams kept a heated glove on his shooting wrist while resting during Oklahoma City’s win over Miami on Sunday. The forward, who underwent two hand surgeries before the season, said full recovery could take up to 18 months, noting the injury “is not something where you get it, have two hand surgeries and then it’s, ‘All right, you’re good to go.’”
