August 21, 2025 — Forward Miles Norris, waived by the Boston Celtics earlier this month, has drawn interest from Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona, according to reporter Oscar Herreros of La Xarxa.
Norris, 25, went undrafted out of UC Santa Barbara in 2023 but has held two-way contracts in each of the past two seasons—first with Atlanta for part of 2023-24 and most recently with Boston late in 2024-25. He appeared in three NBA games but was a regular contributor in the G League last year, averaging 16.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 30.5 minutes in 44 games for the Memphis and Boston affiliates.
Other international signings
Jermaine Samuels has inked a deal with San Pablo Burgos for the 2025-26 campaign, the Spanish club announced. The former Villanova forward, undrafted in 2022, spent 2023-24 on a two-way contract with Houston and has played exclusively in the NBA and G League until now.
Axel Toupane, part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2021 championship roster, has joined FC Porto in Portugal. The 33-year-old French forward previously played in France, Lebanon and Taiwan following his stint with the Bucks.
Adonis Arms, a 6’6″ swingman out of Texas Tech, will continue his career in Greece after signing with AEK Athens. Arms has not appeared in an NBA regular-season game but has spent several seasons in the G League and signed Exhibit 10 contracts with four NBA teams since 2022, most recently New Orleans last October.
