The NBA will once again clear its calendar on Christmas Eve, saving all on-court action for a five-game national schedule on Monday, Dec. 25.
The holiday lineup begins at noon ET inside Madison Square Garden and extends past midnight on the East Coast, giving fans more than 12 consecutive hours of basketball on ABC and ESPN.
Christmas Day schedule (all times Eastern)
Cavaliers at Knicks – 12:00 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)
Spurs at Thunder – 2:30 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)
Mavericks at Warriors – 5:00 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)
Rockets at Lakers – 8:00 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)
Timberwolves at Nuggets – 10:30 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)
The slate features four of the past six NBA champions and several of the league’s top young stars. No games are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 24, a longstanding NBA practice designed to focus national attention on the Christmas Day showcase.
