The Los Angeles Lakers (17-7) are six games out, and the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-9) sit 7.5 behind. The Phoenix Suns (14-11) and Golden State Warriors (13-13) occupy the final two .500-plus positions.

Memphis (11-14), Dallas (10-16), Utah (9-15), and Portland (9-16) follow, each at least a dozen games back. Sacramento (6-19) and the Los Angeles Clippers (6-19) share the next-to-last slot, with New Orleans (4-22) 20 games behind Oklahoma City.
