Brooklyn Nets coach Jordi Fernandez expressed admiration Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, for the way guard Nolan Traore has been performing with the organization’s NBA G League affiliate.
Fernandez told reporters after practice at the HSS Training Center in Brooklyn that Traore’s stretch of strong outings has not gone unnoticed inside the Nets’ front office. The coach said the club is closely monitoring the 19-year-old’s development and evaluating the timing of a possible NBA call-up.
Traore, selected by Brooklyn in the second round of the 2025 draft, has been spending his rookie season in the G League to gain playing time. Over the past several games, he has delivered consistent scoring and playmaking, prompting Fernandez to describe the guard’s progress as “encouraging.”
Fernandez added that roster flexibility and team needs will determine the next steps but emphasized that Traore’s performance has positioned him well for consideration.
