The NBA on Monday named Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown and Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray as the league’s Players of the Week for games played December 1–7.

The 2024 Finals MVP averaged 34.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.0 steal while shooting 53.8% from the field, 47.1% from three-point range and 88.9% at the foul line over three contests (37.7 minutes per game). The 29-year-old sat out the December 4 matchup in Washington, a 45-point Celtics victory.

Through 23 games this season, the Georgia native is producing personal bests of 29.1 points and 4.9 assists, along with 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals, in 33.7 minutes a night as he pushes toward a potential fifth All-Star selection.

Murray secured the Western Conference honor by steering Denver to a 3-1 record last week. The 28-year-old Canadian posted 29.8 points, 7.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals while hitting 59.5% from the floor, 62.1% from beyond the arc and 92.9% at the line across four games (33.8 minutes).
