ASVEL Basket has secured guard Shaquille Harrison for another season, announcing a one-year extension with the seven-year NBA veteran on August 14. He previously logged 183 regular-season outings with seven NBA teams, most recently joining Memphis on a 10-day contract during the 2023/24 campaign.

The Villeurbanne-based squad posted a 23-7 mark in France’s LNB Élite regular season before falling in the playoff semifinals, while finishing 13-21 in EuroLeague play.

Roster Changes at ASVEL

While Harrison returns, ASVEL confirmed that center Joffrey Lauvergne will not be back for 2025/26. The 33-year-old Frenchman spent the past three seasons with his hometown team and previously played four NBA seasons, last suiting up for the Spurs in 2017/18.

Silva Heads to Greece

Greek powerhouse AEK BC has signed forward Chris Silva to a one-year deal. The four-year NBA veteran spent last season in Israel with Bnei Herzliya. AEK also plans to bring back former Nets second-round pick RaiQuan Gray for 2025/26, according to Eurohoops.

Toscano-Anderson Set for Italian Move

Italian side Pallacanestro Trieste has reached an agreement with free-agent wing Juan Toscano-Anderson, Il Piccolo reports. The 32-year-old won an NBA title with Golden State in 2022, last saw NBA action with Sacramento in 2023/24 and spent the entire 2024/25 season in the G League with the Mexico City Capitanes.
