The Golden State Warriors confirmed Monday that veteran guard Seth Curry has signed a guaranteed contract covering the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign, officially completing a move first set in motion during training camp.
Curry, 33, joined the Warriors in October but was waived in the final round of cuts because his veteran-minimum salary could not fit under the NBA’s second-apron hard cap. By waiting for the prorated figure to drop, the front office created enough room to bring him back.
The newly signed deal carries a current cap hit of just over $1.75 million, leaving Golden State about $264,000 below the apron. Should Curry stay with the club through the end of the season, his total earnings will reach approximately $2.78 million.
An 11-year NBA veteran, Curry led the league in three-point accuracy last season at 45.6 percent and owns a career mark of 43 percent from beyond the arc—exactly the type of floor spacing the Warriors rely on.
The agreement sets up the first regular-season opportunity for Seth to share an NBA backcourt with older brother Stephen Curry, marking a milestone the family had yet to experience at the professional level.
