NBA Unveils Emirates NBA Cup Group-Play Schedule; West Group C Leads National TV Slate

The NBA on Wednesday released the group-play lineup for the third annual Emirates NBA Cup, setting games from October 31 through November 23.
Play will take place on five straight Fridays, capped by additional contests on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and Wednesday, Nov. 26. Every Friday doubleheader will stream on Amazon Prime Video, while NBC/Peacock carries the Nov. 25 twin bill and ESPN televises a tripleheader on Nov. 26.
Opening night of the tournament, Oct. 31, features the Boston Celtics visiting the Philadelphia 76ers followed by the Los Angeles Lakers meeting the Memphis Grizzlies.
Knockout Rounds in December
Quarterfinals are set for Dec. 9–10 at the higher-seeded teams’ arenas. The semifinals (Dec. 13) and championship game (Dec. 16) move to Las Vegas. Amazon Prime will broadcast all seven knockout-round matchups.
West Group C in the Spotlight
West Group C—composed of the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs—lands five of the 15 nationally televised group games. Houston and Golden State each appear three times.
The defending Cup champion Milwaukee Bucks make their lone Amazon appearance on Nov. 28 when they face the New York Knicks in group play.
Regular-Season Primer
The league also confirmed Amazon Prime’s first Friday regular-season doubleheader on Oct. 24: Celtics at Knicks followed by Lakers vs. Timberwolves—both rematches from last season’s playoffs.
The complete 2025-26 NBA regular-season schedule will be released Thursday, the league said.
