Lakers Set 2025 Emirates NBA Cup Group Play Dates Against Grizzlies, Pelicans, Clippers and Mavericks

The Los Angeles Lakers will open their third Emirates NBA Cup campaign on Oct. 31, beginning a four-game Group B schedule that also includes the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans.
Group Play contests, branded as Cup Nights, run from Oct. 31 through Nov. 28. Each club faces every opponent in its group once, with two home games and two road games.
2025 Lakers Group B Schedule
Oct. 31 – at Memphis Grizzlies, 6:30 p.m. PT (Amazon Prime)
Nov. 14 – at New Orleans Pelicans, 5 p.m. PT
Nov. 25 – vs. L.A. Clippers, 8 p.m. PT (NBC, Peacock)
Nov. 28 – vs. Dallas Mavericks, 7 p.m. PT (Amazon Prime)
The matchup with Dallas is expected to draw major attention after last season’s trade that sent Luka Doncic to Los Angeles and Anthony Davis to the Mavericks. Former Lakers guards Max Christie and D’Angelo Russell now suit up for Dallas under head coach Jason Kidd, whose staff includes ex-Lakers coaches Frank Vogel and Phil Handy.
The Clippers enter group play as one of the Western Conference’s most talked-about teams following a busy offseason, while both the Grizzlies and Pelicans arrive with high ceilings but lingering questions about health and roster fit.
Following group play, the six group winners plus one wildcard from each conference advance to the knockout stage. Quarterfinals are set for Dec. 9–10, with the semifinals and championship scheduled for Dec. 13 and Dec. 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
