Guard Monte Morris became an unrestricted free agent on November 23 after passing through waivers. The 28-year-old had been waived by the Indiana Pacers two days earlier and has not played since his brief stint in Indianapolis.

The league’s transaction wire remained busy in the run-up to the Thanksgiving holiday:

November 22 Moves

  • The Philadelphia 76ers recalled center Johni Broome from their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
  • The Utah Jazz assigned guard Walter Clayton Jr. to the Salt Lake City Stars, then also sent forward Taylor Hendricks to the same G League club.
  • The Chicago Bulls brought forward Noa Essengue back from the Windy City Bulls.
  • The Denver Nuggets recalled rookie big man DaRon Holmes II from the Grand Rapids Gold.
  • The Toronto Raptors recalled forward Jonathan Mogbo from Raptors 905.

November 21 Activity

  • Philadelphia originally assigned Johni Broome to Delaware before reversing the move a day later.
  • Chicago did the same with Noa Essengue, sending him to Windy City on November 21 and recalling him on November 22.
  • The Orlando Magic recalled forward Noah Penda from the Osceola Magic.
  • The Indiana Pacers signed forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a multi-year contract.
  • Indiana simultaneously waived Monte Morris, leading to his free-agency status on November 23.

All moves were processed through the NBA’s official transaction log.
