New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby will be sidelined for at least two weeks after straining his left hamstring, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Sunday.

The 28-year-old will remain in New York during the club’s upcoming five-game road trip, which opens Monday night against the Miami Heat. Team doctors are expected to reexamine the injury after the two-week period.

Anunoby left Friday’s 140-132 win over Miami just 6:52 into the first quarter and did not return. He is averaging 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds this season. Last year he appeared in 74 games, matching his career high and marking the second time he topped 70 games in a single campaign.

The Knicks are also monitoring guard Jalen Brunson, who is day-to-day with a Grade 1 sprained ankle sustained last week. Brunson missed Friday’s contest against the Heat.
