NEW YORK — On Nov. 15, 2025, guard Landry Shamet said the New York Knicks’ redesigned offense suits him perfectly, describing his current role as “where I wanted to be.”
The 28-year-old joined the Knicks ahead of the 2025–26 season and has quickly embraced the team’s new system under head coach Tom Thibodeau. Speaking after practice on Saturday, Shamet emphasized that the offensive changes align with his playing style and allow him to contribute immediately.
Shamet added that he feels confident about his fit in New York and is focused on helping the Knicks execute their updated game plan as the season progresses.
