The Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks will meet at Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day, marking a high-profile Eastern Conference matchup featuring New York native Donovan Mitchell and newly hired Knicks head coach Mike Brown.
The NBA has not yet announced a tipoff time, but with the league’s four other holiday games involving Western Conference clubs, the start is expected to be at either noon or 1 p.m. ET.
This will be Cleveland’s first Christmas appearance since the LeBron James era. The Cavaliers finished last season 64-18, earned the No. 1 seed in the East and were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers one round before New York advanced to the conference finals.
Tickets are already listed on Vivid Seats, beginning at roughly $427. Major resale platform SeatGeek has not yet posted inventory for the game.
The NBA will release the full 2025-26 schedule on Thursday, at which point the exact game time will become official.
