Warriors

Stephen Curry will remain in the Bay Area and miss Golden State’s inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament game Friday against the Nuggets in Denver. According to ESPN’s Anthony Slater, the guard fell ill during the recent road trip and first noticed symptoms before Tuesday’s matchup in Phoenix, where he said he felt “drained” after halftime. The Warriors expect him back Sunday when they host the Pacers.

Forward Draymond Green (rib contusion) is listed as probable, while Jimmy Butler III (lower back strain) is questionable. Head coach Steve Kerr told reporters both players are hopeful they can play.

Lakers

Los Angeles continues to take a cautious approach with Austin Reaves. Assistant coach JJ Redick said the guard’s status for Saturday’s home game against Atlanta is “to be determined,” per ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. Reaves tested his sore groin before Wednesday’s win over San Antonio but was not cleared to suit up. The Lakers have handled soft-tissue issues conservatively since the season began, and Reaves’ situation follows that pattern.

Wizards

Rookie wing Bilal Coulibaly will miss Friday’s contest in Cleveland, The Athletic’s Josh Robbins reported. Coulibaly sat out the first four games of the season after thumb surgery and is now dealing with tightness in his lower left leg, which forced him to exit Wednesday’s game early. Robbins added that Khris Middleton is available after missing the past two games.

Washington values Coulibaly’s length and defensive energy, but he will remain on the sideline until the leg issue subsides.
