Los Angeles Lakers

Luka Doncic, sidelined for the past three games with a sprained left finger and leg soreness, is listed as questionable for Friday’s road contest against the Grizzlies. Head coach JJ Redick said the swelling in Doncic’s finger has eased five days after the team projected a one-week reevaluation timeline. Free-agent guard Marcus Smart, out the last two games with a quadriceps contusion, also carries a questionable tag for Friday.

Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo was a late scratch Thursday against Golden State despite being listed as probable earlier in the day. Milwaukee still beat the Warriors behind guard Ryan Rollins, who delivered a career-best 32 points, eight assists and five rebounds.

Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young will miss Friday’s matchup in Indiana because of a right knee sprain. An MRI on Thursday confirmed the injury, which occurred when a teammate fell into Young’s knee late in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Chet Holmgren sat out victories on Tuesday and Thursday with lower-back soreness. Head coach Mark Daigneault said there are no long-term concerns and that the club is taking a conservative approach to the rookie center’s recovery.

Los Angeles Clippers

Bradley Beal, who missed two games with back soreness, is expected to return Friday against the Pelicans. The veteran guard began the season on a minutes restriction following offseason knee surgery.

Philadelphia 76ers

Jared McCain (thumb surgery) and Paul George (knee surgery) practiced Thursday but will remain out for Friday’s meeting with Boston. Earlier in the day, Philadelphia exercised McCain’s third-year team option.
