CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers have designated center Jarrett Allen as questionable for Friday’s NBA Cup matchup against the Toronto Raptors after he broke the ring finger on his left hand.

The injury occurred during Wednesday night’s 125-105 defeat to the Boston Celtics, a result that halted Cleveland’s three-game winning streak.

An X-ray taken Thursday revealed a non-displaced fracture, meaning the bone fragments remain aligned. According to the team, Allen will undergo treatment and further evaluation leading up to the game in Toronto.

The 27-year-old is averaging 14 points and seven rebounds through the Cavaliers’ first five contests.

Cleveland is already playing without starting point guard Darius Garland (toe) and forward Max Strus (foot) as both continue to recover from offseason surgeries.
